Alexei is a funding specialist and leads our Business Funding team in the South.

He joined Shaw & Co in 2018 having built his corporate finance career over 20 years in companies such as Lazard, Lloyds and Credaris.

‍

Over the last 15 years he has advised on over £400m in client funding. Entrepreneurially focused and highly innovative, Alexei blends the best structures from different markets and sectors for the benefit of each client.

‍

His Business Funding team arranges financing for UK SMEs from traditional and alternative funding sources including high-street banks, challengers, credit funds, hybrid capital and venture debt providers, as well as family offices.

‍

Typical mandates include all types of growth funding, acquisition, MBI or MBO financing with facilities typically ranging from £5m to £50m.

When Alexei’s away from the office, his three young children, running and reading consume his time.
